how do we grow at GRC?

At Grace Redeemer Church, we are committed to helping the disciples of Jesus Christ mature their faith. Our vision is to be a community "Seeking to become DISCIPLES transformed by the GOSPEL to make DISCIPLES." To achieve this vision, we've outlined a four-step discipleship pathway to help you grow in your faith, resulting in a Gospel-centered life and Kingdom-minded focus.

Step 1: Rooted
Rooted is a 10-week small group experience to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. In a group of 10-15 people from all walks of life, you'll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms are based on Acts 2, where the early church began. A facilitator will guide your group to help you get the most out of the experience. Rooted is available two times a year, in February and September.

Step 2: Life Groups
After completing Rooted, join a Life Group to continue growing in your faith and community. Life Groups are an extension of your Rooted experience, designed to equip you to study God's Word, practice rhythms, and change the world through community. You'll meet regularly with your group to study God's Word, primarily through weekly sermon discussion questions, practice spiritual rhythms, and engage in outreach. Life Groups typically meet weekly or bi-weekly and are a great way to build relationships and grow in your faith through life together.

Step 3: Gospel-Centered Life
Take your faith to the next level with our Gospel-Centered Life study. This nine-week series is designed to help you apply the gospel to everyday life and transform your relationships, work, and community. You'll explore how the gospel shapes every aspect of life and learn to live out your faith in practical ways. These meetings will be offered throughout the year (men’s and women’s groups).

Step 4: Short-Term Mission Trip
Grow in Kingdom-mindedness by joining a short-term mission trip. This is an opportunity to share the gospel, serve others, and experience the global body of Christ. Our short-term mission trips are designed to help you understand God's mission and your place in God’s Kingdom. Also, through this hands-on experience, the teams aid long-term workers, spreading the gospel into the remotest parts of the world. We believe short-term mission trips can be a powerful way to grow your faith and develop a global kingdom-mindedness.
